MODERATORS
It sounds like you've already got server moderators though, in a similar way to how lemmy.world has theirs set up? I understand it's a bodge but they're effectively the same thing. The only difference would be actually naming and promoting them as people that are taking care of the community. That way people can see them taking care of the community.

So, it turns out that PieFed has instance staff that exist between community mod and admin!
