Newbie question, but suppose more than one player has a copy of [[Long List of the Ents]] on the battlefield. Can you note a creature type that has already been noted by an opponent?

Note that the rules text doesn't say "noted for ANY Long List of the Ents" it just says "Long List of the Ents". A strict interpretation of the English concludes that each instance of the cards has its own "list:.

This interpretation is supported by the Comprehensive rules as well. See here:

201.5. Text that refers to the object it's on by name means just that particular object and not any other objects with that name, regardless of any name changes caused by game effects.
