Because development of mechanical devices does not hype investors nearly as much
in a society that values the worker an invention that relieves work would be lauded.
capitalist society doesn't value the worker, it values the product.
as fas as capitalism is concerned people are just inefficient machines with annoying things like "rights" and "feelings"
MO: Make high cost human low cost human
Because hardware is more difficult to develop than software.
Exactly, we should focus on the highest paid jobs first! Automate the bankers and executives!
