This is a community in the spirit of "Am I The Asshole" where people can post their own bans from lemmy or reddit or whatever and get some feedback from others whether the ban was justified or not.
Sometimes one just wants to be able to challenge the arguments some mod made and this could be the place for that.
Posting Guidelines
All posts should follow this basic structure:
- Which mods/admins were being Power Tripping Bastards?
- What sanction did they impose (e.g. community ban, instance ban, removed comment)?
- Provide a screenshot of the relevant modlog entry (don’t de-obfuscate mod names).
- Provide a screenshot and explanation of the cause of the sanction (e.g. the post/comment that was removed, or got you banned).
- Explain why you think its unfair and how you would like the situation to be remedied.
Rules
- Post only about bans or other sanctions that you have received from a mod or admin.
- Don’t use private communications to prove your point. We can’t verify them and they can be faked easily.
- Don’t deobfuscate mod names from the modlog with admin powers.
- Don’t harass mods or brigade comms. Don’t word your posts in a way that would trigger such harassment and brigades.
- Do not downvote posts if you think they deserved it. Use the comment votes (see below) for that.
- You can post about power trippin’ in any social media, not just lemmy. Feel free to post about reddit or a forum etc.
- If you are the accused PTB, while you are welcome to respond, please do so within the relevant post.
Expect to receive feedback about your posts, they might even be negative.
Make sure you follow this instance's code of conduct. In other words we won't allow bellyaching about being sanctioned for hate speech or bigotry.

Some acronyms you might see.
- PTB - Power-Tripping Bastard: The commenter agrees with you this was a PTB mod.
- YDI - You Deserved It: The commenter thinks you deserved that mod action.
- YDM new - You Deserved More: The commenter thinks you got off too lightly.
- BPR - Bait-Provoked Reaction: That mod probably overreacted in charged situation, or due to being baited.
- CLM - Clueless Mod: The mod probably just doesn't understand how their software works.

oh fuck off, you arent a mod, you are twat with a small amount of power, thats pretty clear. you got banned because you were a cunt on a previous account so you made this community out of spite. people used it for legit purposes, and most of the time your personality didn't come out, but I annoyed you, so you've gone immediately to bitch mode, abusing the same authority you created this community to cry about.
Fuck you, sincerely. if you want to get into the comments to spout your shitty opinion in future, I suggest you make a separate account for that. At least then you could clutch at the barest reaches of professionalism. What a clown.
Threatening to evade bans and behaving abusively towards others is a great way to get yourself banned again. It also reinforces the idea that YDI. Abusive behavior isn't something that is common among people who are innocent of wrongdoing, actually abusive behavior is considered wrongdoing in and of itself on most instances.

I have given up caring, this was alegitimate post, the point I made was honest, but now I've decided to burn my account because fuck it, if you guys are gonna be this fucking stupid then whats the point? I got banned from several communities on an instance I do not recognise and have never knowingly visited. I did not comment, so my behaviour here is not really relevant is it? I can behave how the fuck I want when the ban I'm complaining about is not relevant to my method of commenting.
I was highlighting a legitimate issue, one I am sure you will eventually find to be worth addressing, but apparently this community is policed by credulous twats and populated by bottom feeding stunted cunts.

To me, it only seems abusive to OP's reputation. It's funny to imagine someone this furious in regular conversation. Otherwise, I can only accept that this is parody.
Mods, please don't remove these comments. They've genuinely given me a good laugh and they may give joy to others.
E: Mods, I'm mildly disappointed in you all. Clicking on OPs profile now leads nowhere. I was very interested in seeing how his/her comment career progressed.

The admins of lemm.ee can unban and ban the OP to bring back profile visibility if they choose. Also shows that they recognize the abusive behavior as something that isn't welcome on lemm.ee

Reach out to the lemm.ee instance admins about this with the information that @SomeGuyNamedDave@lemm.ee was being abusive and threatened to evade bans, they can 'Unban' then Ban his account and it'll make the comment history visible, which I think is important in this case because he threatened to make alt accounts and evade bans.
Don't have a stroke dude, being this angry all the time is hazardous to your health (preemptively blocking you, don't bother raging at me)
