Mostly fair points, but if you don't think there's a symbiosis between the rise of Trump and the far right efforts in Germany, Hungary, Canada, and others, I think you are missing the big picture.

Yes, Germany and Canada have had some success in holding it off - for now. But even that is arguably at least influenced by the worldwide shock at just how bad Trump has been.
