I'm glad he showed some baseline empathy for Palestine with his words, and I'm glad he didn't think we LGBTQIA people should literally be imprisoned or executed, but he was still a bigot who netted a lot more harm for the world than he did good
Kind of the same way no American President isn't also a war criminal, their personal convictions and actions notwithstanding. The position of the organization v the individual person.
