I installed Arch Linux on my Macbook Pro, but then I installed KDE Plasma with the default packages. Did I do it wrong? (self.transprogrammer)

I know Arch is all about minimalism, but I'm also limited on time and I just wanted to get a working GUI. Is it a huge faux pas to install all the default packages?
