Many of the best DS games are built around the hardware in ways that make it difficult to get the full experience from trying to emulate.
There’s hardware made to emulate that too, should you go that route. Not free though.
The thing you emulate it on is not free. The internet you used was not free. Your time is not free.

I've discovered this recently and am loving playing Mario 3D land with my son.
I play it on my laptop, but I'm happy to hear that children are acceptable hardware emulation devices
Way more expensive than a DS though
Like a real life Tamagotchi. You mean you have to feed it every day?
Can easily play Doom on it.
Well, he's 4 so he doesn't really care about Fortnite , Minecraft or Roblox yet. Also the tiny retro handheld console I have is easier on his little hands.
