I hate to say this but fucking good. Throwing random people in Gitmo wasn't enough to piss the people off to do anything, because the only thing that would be enough is when they fuck with everyone's money.
I hate the "fuck you I got mine" attitude so fucking much.
I seriously doubt this will be enough. A whole lot of qons were very grrrr, mad when Biden talked about loan forgiveness for the same reasons, really ("fuck you I got mine") and many qons never went to school.
The average person just needs to fall under a certain level of comfortability for all hell to break loose.
Unlike Hitler, this guy cant 'fix' the economy by going to war because any war big enough to bolster our already over bloated military budget would immediately end in MAD.
This isn't a reason to act like its all gonna be okay, but I'd like to think we have a better shot than 1930's Germany...

Not all of us. Really mostly the men. Talking to a genz woman vs man is like two completely different groups.
This isn't the first time I've heard that. I wonder why things have played out this way.
My tinfoil hat theory is that a large part of it is incels. All the articles that young people are having way less sex than previous generations, etc. Young men are frustrated and instead of doing something productive about it, they start hating women. And hating women is a quick slide to the right side of the political aisle.
If you've ever visited the now-banned incel subreddit, it's a whole bunch of really frustrated young men who blame everyone else for not getting any.
If you want my honest opinion, gamer gate. it hit at just the right time for a lot of genz boys to be really into gaming at the time and to be dumb enough to just listen to what the people that they watched play games say and believe.

Meanwhile for the women, the right was largely offering nlog shit. It was taking away rights and encouraging misogyny in the men their age. This pissed them off which pissed the men off now that they couldn't get laid
Tradwife content is getting really big with genz, unfortunately. I'm not sure how much longer the girls will stay liberal at this rate. The Mormon church is heavily subsidizing LDS content creators through adsense and it's encouraging more and more of them to build a platform, and pushing their content far and wide. Once I started seeing the signs, there are so many Mormon influencers. They're winning the cultural victory rn and it's scary af as a progressive woman.
when you look at the demographics who voted for trump: white women are already there and white people control the media, so that tide has likely already come in.
I really don't want it to be true, because it's just such a boring, stupid little bit of corruption. There's so much fucking corruption in our whole economy, and for them to seize on that of all things and the message they get out of it is "wow, fuck women huh?" Is just boggling.

There's a decent correlation there. There was an article or study out out recently that demonstrated that Republican narratives and pundits overwhelmingly dominate the podcast/streaming space by like a 5:1 ratio, and that a lot of people (for some reason, disproportionately men) who are exposed to podcasts and streaming tend to drift right as they're exposed to these pundits and narratives.
You have more hope than I. I seriously do not think Americans will ever do anything. Too many people have been indoctrinated into obedience.
Sad that it comes to this and people’s social security + other social safety nets having to be cut for them to wake the fuck up.
