Why is the room laughing? That's infuriating.
In fairness, that was my first reaction too.
A mix of "haha the bloke doesn't know what he had for breakfast, let alone what he said at the start of the week" and "haha he fucking what?"
Immediate follow up should have been deafening silence only broken by the journalist clarifying he did say it, and if he's intended to formally retract his accusation. I'm so tired.
Many emotions can elicit a laugh.
