We also discuss how naturally open technologies like the Fediverse can be susceptible to corporate takeovers, rugpulls and subsequent enshittification.
It's a shame LetGo got merged with OfferUp. I got some great stuff on LetGo and was able to unload quite a few things too. OfferUp was not nearly as good.
Facebook Marketplace killed Craigslist in my area. As of late, there are more postings than there used to be, but the days of Craigslist being full of deals seem to be gone.
