Moderation has gotten out of control on the internet, where people abuse their powers to perpetuate narratives they like while censoring ones they don't.

Where can I find lemmy instances that support freedom of speech? It's fine if you don't like it or have issues with it (feel free to move on without a reply!)

Update: Thanks to the recommendation of @occultist8128@infosec.pub, I checked the blocked instances of lemmy.world and found https://welppp.com/

I just came across it, so it may not actually support freedom of speech, but it looks promising.

If anyone has alternatives, still feel free to share them ๐Ÿ™‚

You can pay to get into communick.news or start your own instance.

Thanks, but I'm not interested in paying to get in.

I would like an instance to be as open as possible. Restricting creating new communities to admins doesn't fly.

Honestly, it sounds like the best idea is to run your own instance. You can do it off of old, trash hardware.

I very well may ending up doing this. Thank you.
