Hey Dick, can I call you Dick? So, Dick, the problem people have with the police is summed up like this: We are tired of the jackboots not being accountable for their crimes against humanity.
That clear enough for you Dick?
You deescalate just as effectively as most police. I’m sure your addition to the discourse will help to bring people towards your viewpoint.
Edit: my previous comment wasn't de-escalation, it was bringing them up to speed in a way that would grab their attention. Seems like it ruffled your feathers as well.
