Are turkish delights the same as like aplets and cotlets and the misc fruit delights? Because if so I fucking LOVE them and don't understand all of the hate.
Yeah, they're just Turkish delights with fruit or nuts in them, but they taste much better
It is similar yes.
Yeah but the traditional flavors are rose, mastic, and citrus fruit like lemon or bergamot.
If I stumbled upon mastic flavored lokum I'd have to give it a try.
I had the mastic ones once. It tasted like houseplant mixed with ointment. I just let the guys at work hate-eat it.
Other Turkish delight flavours are nice.
