MODERATORS
This is thing about these idiot podcasters .... they are our modern day snake oil salesmen and religious evangelists on a soap box in the town square. They know how to talk, how to manage a crowd and how to direct, misdirect or massage people's modes. They have no affiliations other than making money or separating the masses from their money. They're salesmen that will say anything to keep your attention because it's your attention that makes them money.
Andrew Huberman is such a snake and people think he's legit.
Yeah I listened to him for a bit, than I realised that he is attempting to translate studies done on mice to lifestyle advice. Sounds plausible if you don’t know how science works, but it’s real snake oil.
And those supplements and stuff he hawks. I realize podcasts are advertising dependent but sheesh.
Why is he a snake?
Serial cheater, his "lab" is a lie, he said young people don't need a COVID vaccine, and he shills for a number of really dubious products. He's basically Dr. Oz.

I read/skimmed the first 2 because they really went on. They seem to be reaching hard. A whole lot of flowery language to evoke an emotional response of unease. If they had anything real they would have gotten to the point. The only thing that was concrete (that I saw) was he said a study was on humans when it was on rats. Testing on rats is common and he could have misremembered.
*I did a ctrl+f on "Sarah" (his partner) and it comes up 56 times. Sure whatever form of cheating is bad, but this is the exact emotional stuff they went for. That's the kind of article it is. Fifty six times.
