The cynic in me will also point out that they don't actually need the real killer either. Any random person resembling the pictures will do.
That would be awfully risky if they didn't already have the real vigilante in custody or on a slab, at which point what's the point of having a fake?
Like imagine if they announced they caught him or shot him and then the real guy targets another of the bastards?
They'll just blame it on a copycat killer and start arresting any one who walks on the same side of the street as a corporate CEO
For once in my life, I'm looking forward to copycats this time.
