Unbelievable. King Koopa is a significantly better leader than who this is a parody of.
Other than turning citizens into bricks, kidnapping, starting a war and time-travelling to steal your enemy and his friends as babies, did Bowser do anything bad?
I played Mario RPG recently and he does kind of do right by his people. He's just a dick to the Mushroom Kingdom and a danger to the world. And that he shares with who he's parodying, lol.
In the old live action Mario movie, both Bowser and a guy in the ‘real world’ are styled after the person you’re referring to
