Pete Wehner, a former speechwriter for Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush and George W. Bush, wrote on X that Kamala Harris "dominated" Fox News host Bret Baier during an interview on Wednesday.

"My take: Bret Baier has rarely looked as bad (or tendentious) as he did in his interview with Kamala Harris," Wehner wrote on X. "On the flip side, this was one of her best interviews. She dominated Bret. All in all it was quite a bad day for MAGA world's most important media outlet," Wehner posted on X

Harris and Baier shared a combative 30-minute exchange in her first formal interview on the right-leaning network, in an outreach to conservative or independent voters in the closing weeks of the election. Baier grilled her on the Biden administration's handling of immigration, the Middle East and the economy.

MAGA world's most important media outlet

Hey, 2016 called, it wants its' tweet back. None of the real MAGAs trust Fox anymore, ever since they had to settle that lawsuit and fire Tucker Carlson.

Actual MAGA voters aren't gettable anyway. Fox is still important to MAGA because it is the biggest mainstream launderer of the MAGA brand, particularly for traditional Republicans , who are gettable and who are more likely to watch Fox.

This was smart and she should do more. Go on Rogan ASAP.

Good! She should go on all those shows and go after the crypto bros and young men that Trump is trying to turn into first time voters. That's actually the only really novel Trump strategy for picking up net new votes that the Harris campaign seems to have a response for.

Surprisingly, Rogan has been giving her credit, in as much as he's capable of that. Heard some clips of him praising her performance and how much she got Trump.

They don't even remember Carlson. They still watch Fox 24/7

The actual die hard MAGA people watch OANN

My parents watch FOX. The goal isn't to get the die hard MAGAts, but instead someone who is willing to listen. Anyone at all.

I'm more concerned about people like our parents and grandparents, or my buddy with 2.5 kids. The truly hardcore are long lost.
