Today’s game is Halo CE (Sorry to people who like to guess the game. This one is a bit of a trick). This is in fact not Ocarina of Time, this is me and my friend playing a Halo CE map that looks like Ocarina Of Time we found on the steam workshop. The controls were a bit glitchy (kept forcing me to target him), and I drove a horse into a ditch trying to run him over (said horse also didn’t have animations so it was just rolling). But besides that it was a lot of fun. I completely kicked my friend’s ass with my OoT knowledge.

Me and him have also been doing a modded OoT multiplier run after I started my original one. So I may end up sharing a screenshot from that tomorrow if we play then.

With the release of "The Final Shape," the main storyline has concluded, and it seems like the developers are now just churning out random content and seasonal passes without a clear direction for the game's future. I'm genuinely curious about what motivates players to stick around. Are there aspects of the game that still offer value or enjoyment, or are players simply holding on in hopes of something more substantial? What keeps them engaged with Destiny 2 despite its apparent lack of a clear path forward?

Welcome to the Eurogamer 100, a list of video games that aims to reflect their ever-changing nature. Rather than ranking games by their influence or significance, the below list is a suggestion of the very best things you can play at this moment, according to us.

It's a pretty good list, I think, although there are a few "wtf" moments here and there as I see what's included and what's omitted.

Watching this trailer gives me hopes that we can Sonic this thing! Unfortunatly I have a sinking feeling it'll be another Lion King, where they completely ignore the community. Ich drücke uns die Daumen!

Today’s game is Mario Galaxy. I decided today was my day to be productive for once, and I dumped all my Wii games ROMs for safe keeping, along with all my Blu-Ray discs. While I was testing the Wii Games to see if they worked, I got distracted by Mario Galaxy.

I chose this screenshot specifically because it shows off the water. Mario Galaxy is one of those games that has gorgeous water.

Fallout 3, New Vegas, Elder scrolls Oblivion are my three favorite games of all time If I had to put my finger on them. But it's not enjoyable anymore to simply download them and try to play through them again. There's just something about trying to replay them and it just doesn't work. Maybe I spent too much time playing games with high graphical fidelity lately, or I spent too much time in them back in the day. But if there was a remake, 2028, they released a brand new version of any of these games, it would be immediate purchase for me. I would spend another thousand hours in them with modern graphics and updates. Like a modern game engine... The thing I wonder though is why? Why don't they remake any of their games? Not even Skyrim! They just keep re-releasing it.

I was playing Sea of Thieves again with a Friend. We figured out we could get on top of the mast and were messing around with emotes. We thought it was the funniest shit ever. Here’s a screenshot I took of me laying on the Mast. I have another of me in a barrel too.

Today’s game is Half Life 2. I heard it got a UI update specifically for Steam Deck, so I had to try it. I ended up playing way more than I meant too (made it all the way to the Boat Segment and got stuck on the helicopter fight). I forgot how damn good this game is, it’s hard for me to resist playing it too and procrastinating all my other titles. Though ig all that matters is I’m having fun.

I picked up the bucket in the photo at the train station and carried it as far as I could. I ended up getting all the way to the teleporter with it before sadly I lost it, ending what I’ve dubbed Bucket%. I found another one after that and carried it all the way to the sewage tunnels for fun, but accidentally dropped it and couldn’t get it back.

If you have the game on GOG, I would suggest backing this up before September 10, 2024

After the massive blunder of Starfield, I cannot see how Elder scrolls 6 could possibly be successful. Everything points to the fact that they knew that the game was not even half finished, in my opinion, with major glaring issues, and they decided to just send it off anyway. The difference between this game and Oblivion is that this time, it wasn't light-hearted and filled with silly mistakes that made people laugh. It instead inside it a lot of anger and disbelief as to how they could fail so spectacularly with a AAA title...

But this has not been the first time that Bethesda as a whole has failed, and is in fact the third strike. They failed spectacularly with Fallout 4, which took the gaming industry by surprise after seeing how poorly developed it was, and the extreme low quality of the story, how unfinished the game was, how simply broken many areas and features were, I could talk about it for hours. Biggest thing to me was the poorly made settlement system that barely even worked because there was no snapping, and it felt like playing an indie game. The second strike was Fallout 76, crazy how disappointing his game was and even to this day is still broken and in disarray. It's only been able to survive purely because of microtransactions...

Then, you look at what most people are playing right now, and it's Skyrim. Above any other game out there, it's Skyrim. The similarity between Skyrim and Elder scrolls 6 doesn't really matter that much, the age is what you should really focus on. Why are people playing such an old game still to this day? Hint, it's because every single other title they've released has been a disappointment.

Personally, I have no faith or belief that Elder scrolls 6 will be anything other than a colossal disappointment. I don't see how Bethesda as a studio can possibly manage to produce AAA titles anymore, I think they have a budget of half of what they need to have, and it's only getting smaller each year as costs are being cut, and People are being laid off, stakeholders and stockholders want more revenue growth than ever before. It's unbelievable honestly. They expect infinite growth with minimal headcount that keeps shrinking

Today’s is a pretty Simple one. the Game is Project Zomboid. I usually don’t like sharing 2D games because they’re hard to make look presentable, but i also like sharing images that break out of my usual “Here’s a Landscape shot” and wanted to share this. Me and My friend had a cookout in a motel we have a Base in. My Character is a Regular Middle Aged Suburban Dad named Jerry, while his character is My Character’s Adoptive Stoner Son, named Cable. There’s a whole lot more “lore” behind them but that’s the general gist of it.

It feels like new games are just more of the same, with no real meaning. However I recently started playing "Return of the Obra Dihn" and love open ended deduction in it. It feels like I'm actually figuring things out by myself without being handheld through it. Are there any other games that don't coddle the player that you guys recommend?
