Unfederation should not be used so cavalierly. Instead, community blocks. I know many people that chose lemmy.world because it doesnt block anything and hope it stays that way.

Ironically Ive known about fedi for years and years, but only with lemmy am i now properly active in it. I wouldnt bother with masto, its not anywhere as fun or worth it

I expect lemmy.ml to be hugged to death, but that's just a DoS.

More interestingly would be how the activitypub network reacts under reddit-like loads and behaviour, and as i understand it, things shouldnt be too bad?
