There's a whole sub in R*ddit called r/ewwphoria that is basically filled with these kind of interactions.

It is disgusting behaviour, but it's totally understandable why something awful like that would feel euphoric because it validates your gender identity in a twisted way.

You can feel offended and validated at the same time, they're not mutually exclusive. I hope you are in an otherwise safe place and can get lots of compliments that are not demeaning like that though 💜

The feeling that you're not able to show your real identity to the real world is pretty telling by itself. Being in an unsafe place where you can't express yourself properly is not the same thing as not being trans.

Remember that it's not clothes, hormones or our looks what makes us trans, but that deep, often unexplainable feeling that something is wrong. Please stay safe and take care. If you need someone to talk to, I'm always open for dms 💜.

The Objective is as reliable news source as your neighbor telling you what they have heard in a bar.

They spew bullshit and right wing propaganda left and right.

Not only that, they are basing the ruling on the concept that the protected category of sex is based on reproductive organs and/or chromosomes. Where does this ruling leave intersex people at then?

As always, it's about cis people seeing binary in everything and erasing the existence of people through these stupid and malicious rulings.

They knew where the complaint was coming from, they knew the implications it would have, and they decided to rule in their favor anyways.

Ah, I see you have come to our own (not so little) Dale!

How has your stay in Spain been so far? Still having trouble finding English speakers?

While TFS did support Git, I had to deal with the much worse TFVC for a long while, up until Azure DevOps came along.

Even though they're mostly anecdotic, there seems to be a consensus that both are used. There are some articles stating they're 9 and others stating they're 7, and depending who you ask they'll tell you one or another.

I was curious about how many lives a cat has depending on the country, so I decided to find as much info as I could and post it here.

The map is made in purple to help daltonic people understand it better. I've seen it should help with deuteranopia and protanopia mostly, but I'm very new to this so if you have any feedback, let me know ;)

Disclaimers

7 or 9 lives

The countries with 7 or 9 were the ones where I found some discrepancies depending on the region, but since the sources didn't state which region, I had to put the whole country. Technically, Italy is also in that category, but I believe the people who says it's 9 lives is in very specific regions and 7 lives is way more used.

Cyprus

Although populated mostly by greeks, surprisingly most info I found pointed towards them saying 9 lives.

No info

There are some countries I couldn't find any definitive information and had to go with what other pages stated about their myths, these are:

  • Syria
  • Lebanon
  • Palestine
  • Irak
  • Saudi Arabia

So I am very sorry to the arab folks living in those countries if I'm somehow mistaken about this ^^'

Other mistakes

I'm sure I have made some mistakes and assumptions about how many lives a cat has in some countries and I have put them closer to immortality or given them taxes on their lives, forgive me.

It's mostly personal choice but I find it easier to configure and it's certainly more lightweight and faster than GRUB (although probably not by a noticeable amount). Since I don't need BIOS support I prefer to use it.

I usually replace these:

  1. Bash with Fish
  2. Neofetch (if there is) with Fastfetch+Hyfetch
  3. Firefox with Floorp
  4. Mkinitcpio with Dracut
  5. GRUB with systemd-boot

Olentzero is no ordinary old man that brings presents to kids on Christmas, he's a charcoal burner that is also a Jentil, a giant in the Basque mythology.

He was originally a pagan, but some say he stayed behind and converted to chrisitanism when he saw Jesus about to be born, while the other jentilak escaped. Other less favorable interpretations say he converted and betrayed the rest of the jentilak, showing the people their locations so they could be killed.

All these are modern interpretations for Christmas because afaik originally he was supposed to be somewhat evil.
