The Scream and Saw franchises were pretty groundbreaking at the time. They single-handedly redefined the entire horror movie genre.

Anti p2p groups started to crack down hard on torrenting a few years back so I just shifted to sketchy streaming sites for consuming movies/TV. It's probably not legal, but it seems to fly under the radar.
