It’s confusing to me why people think discord is a good replacement for forums. It’s not even the same paradigm - it’s a chat program. Not being indexed by search engines is a major drawback as well.

This is what I wondered about a few months ago when people were saying that ChatGPT was a 'google killer'. So we just have 'AI' read websites and sum them up, vs. visiting websites? Why would anyone bother putting information on a website at that point?

Why do these people think Jesus needs an ad campaign?

Interesting law that allows him to do this. Apparently attorneys general and Congress have zero interest in holding Thomas to account for what appear to be blatant violations of law and ethics.

With a serving size of 20-30g and only 1 g carbs, unfortunately they’re not exploiting labeling. Cucumbers do not have significant carbohydrates, fat or protein and thus neither do pickled cucumbers. Maybe enough carbs to survive but not enough fat or protein, and so you’d end up with protein deficiency and whatever that condition is where people eating just rabbits starve from lack of fat. Probably also a horrific case of heartburn from such an acidic diet.

They do have a decent amount of some vitamins and minerals, and electrolytes such as potassium. It wouldn’t make up for the lack of protein and fat though.

my recent ex would just yell at me from 3 rooms away. I'd be forced to yell back "what??" and then half the time she wouldn't say anything. So I'd get up and walk over there and ask "what??". "oh, nothing, I wanted you to see this thing on TV". I'd ask that she could please walk over and talk to me directly so I didn't have to yell or get up and it would never happen.

Yep, a huge portion of this recent 'inflation' is not cost increases or actual inflation... just basically the wealthy class turning the screws on everyone else because they can.

the decision was made to go with a design that, in theory, would give users a 50/50 chance of plugging it in correctly

How could it be less than that? If it was triangular?

I find grass so useless. Every boomer parent I've known is just obsessed with it, too. They think that not having a green, green monoculture lawn means you've failed morally or something, and that it's how they show the neighborhood how responsible they are. One GF's dad came over to our random Winconsin lawn of grass and weeds and strawberries and was "I WOULD JUST PULL THIS ALL UP AND START OVER". Uh.... no?

Then I had an across the street neighbor (guy with a bumper sticker "I've never seen a FLAG burned at a GUN SHOW") who would mow his lawn every single day with a riding mower. You couldn't even tell what part he had done yet. I went out of town for two weeks and he rode over and mowed my lawn. I left my backyard just go and it was awesome... after a few years, birds started nesting in the middle of the prairie, and I had flowers growing I'd never seen anywhere else.

Talking about serious emotional issues or relationship problems with other men is pretty much uniformly crap. Most men are conditioned to not open up, or prefer immature viewpoints about all of that - or are just immature and crude and actually think various stupid and abusive things about women. Unfortunately some women actually prefer that.
