Black & White! I'm honestly surprised it's just been left to rot. I don't think it's even gotten the GOG treatment.
I would be pretty disappointed in CDPR if the game gets a real "happy" ending. I don't think it fits the theme of the game or the setting, and they telegraph that from the beginning.
It matters in terms of keeping track of your subscriptions though, unless I'm missing something. I essentially need to decide if I'm going to use my account on server A and subscribe to all the federated content I want on server B, or vice versa. If A goes down or if I lose interest in it, I'll need to re-establish somewhere else and resubscribe everything.
I guess the answer is to host your own instance and federate everything, but federation isn't terribly reliable and then you lose the local view.
I just like the feeling of a game launching, I go to buy it, only to realize that I already did and don't even have to think about downloading and enjoying it.
I mostly do it for games I know I'm going to want day one no matter what as a present to future me.
Love the Creatures games, with Creatures 2 being my personal favorite of the 3-4 main series ones. FWIW I had more luck with the Steam version than the GOG version as far as getting it running decently on Windows 10.
