Hi, want to buy some used hardware to run with Linux (Gnome DE ON Mint, Debian OR ElementaryOS). Mainly Office use, transcoding, but also for casual gaming Half-life 2 and maybe some more modern games.

Are Thinkpads with integrated GPUs sufficient for that? Any nice alternatives which are sturdy and can be upgraded?

Wahrscheinlich bezieht sich das auf die Kita in Sachsen, welche „Anne Frank“ aus dem Namen nehmen will - mit dem Argument, dass man Kinder nicht politisieren soll.

DNS-based blocking more complete for your whole network, independent of the device settings for tech-avers users/kids. DNS-based blocking is less flexible for all users in the network - especially when you need to make exceptions for certain sites. They are also limited to your home network, unless you have a VPN server. Therefore, for mobile devices app-based blocking is the main way to go. Consequently, both make sense and your use case is relevant.

Hi, I want to degoogle a Samsung Tablet I got. There is no LineageOS built out for this recent tablet, so I can only try to degoogle the stock ROM.

Any good guides to follow?

And further guides to remove the Samsung bloat? Thanks!
