So along with my beehaw account I have an account on aussie.zone (which is still federating with beehaw as well as the reverse as far as I'm aware).

Anyway I opened that account secondarily so I could access a community thats on a instance beehaw doesn't federate with and so I subscribed to all the beehaw communities I had previously used and fifured I could just use the one for now.

Since then I have noticed a few federation werdnesses in relation to the beehaw communities subscribed to with that aussie.zone account and I'm a bit confused. Maybe someone can explain it to me.

With the beehaw community 'Humanities', from my aussie.zone account the community is empty. I see no posts or comments except for one post I made myself (and that post I can see from my beehaw account so it did get through).

With the beehaw 'entertainment' community, I made a post from my aussie.zone account and again the post went through as people on beehaw have upvoted and commented on the post, but none of the comments or upvotes are visible from my aussie.zone account.

It seems all very weird to me.

Glad to see this get up. Hopefully we’ll get more diverse rpg discussions than just D&D and derivatives :)

So hyped for this. The earlier seasons are amongst my all time fave anime.

Us Aussies sneak into the top 5, yay.

As for the age thing, I'll just say I have posted to usenet :)

As I've enjoyed the prior audiobooks in the series I am happy to hear book 3 is coming up soonish, August 1st.

So Spring approaches and yet again I have to look and deal with infestations of onion weed and nutgrass in my gardens.

So fucking wish there was a easy way to deal with this without resorting to chemicals.

If anything it's the reverse I'd think. Just look at books without a Happily Ever After and how that's looked down on, and why its a requirement for Romance publishers.

Been waiting for this. His other Tolkien narration jobs have been excellent.

Of course it is. As always a choice between visual quality and framerate.

DF did a pretty decent video on the whole 30fps question. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9ikne_9iEI

Honestly it was anime. I don’t know if there was a specific use of Japanese music in anime that did it. I was a pretty casual listener. I might have got more into it with LiSa due to Sword Art Online, Mayn with Macross Frontier, and Maaya Sakamoto with Tamayura.

So I recently finished the audiobook version of Knight's Bane by Kirk Mason . A fantasy romance featuring a vampire lady and a farmer turned knight.

A quite enjoyed it, though I've enjoyed much of Kirks other books which are mostly fantasy romances, mostly non monogamous ones.

The narrator, Savannah Thomas, was pretty good. First time I'd heard her narrate anything.

Yeah. Though the third party users are probably are the heaviest users so probably have an outsized impact on the content of various subreddits. So no, I don't think the lack of 3rd party clients and those users will kill Reddit, anymore than its killed twitter or Tumblr shennanigans has killed tumblr. That said I did just join today, and I do actually wonder given the death of 3rd party clients and the IPO when reddit will try to squash NSFW subreddits and posts. Thats the kind of thing I'd expect as they IPO and chase advertisers.
