I thought it was a very interesting idea, I love games that experiment with new things and game mechanics, but it quickly went from being a fun idea to mostly frustrating, especially since you can't change the controls. Using the mouse and stretching the other hands fingers to control arrow keys and then jump with space is not really that different from playing a piano/keyboard piece that your hands are nearly or just a little too small for. I tested this on a trackpad, but I don't see an actual mouse making that big of a difference, while the possibility to change the controls actually might make a big difference.
Haha I was afraid this was going to be the answer, 'cause I don't know anyone who watches anime. Ok well I know a few, but they're more like, friends of friends thst I don't really know or keep contact with. The same applies to pretty much anything though. You can't beat actually talking to other people who know who you are and what you like.
I'll have to look for some good vegan chicken seasoning/broth recipes. You have a favorite?
Yeah gotta agree about what's good over meat replicas. I never really got the need for meat replicas (although I do make carrot hotdogs quite a bit, they're just so easy and still fairly unprocessed, just peel, marinate and cook and it's just like a real hotdog), that's why I at least tried to specify that's not what I'm after. Love potatoes and cauliflower in curry, well pretty much in anything.
Thanks for the idli suggestion, haven't heard of that before. Love all the rest though. Have to try a baked potato curry sometime!
I thought about nutritional yeast, but didn't go with it yet, I think I'll try that, gotta try mushrooms too.
Yeah my tofu angle was more like, if anyone's managed to marinade it to taste like chicken. Love tofu though. Paneer was kind of a miss, maybe the brand wasn't great, but I'm gonna stick with tofu, paneer is a lot rarer so I can get better tofu here. We have this paneer-like cheese where I'm from, it's a little fattier maybe and it was great in curry, it just melted a little too much cause I added it too early. It became a little like mozzarella when cooked, just chewier.
I wish I could find jackfruit here without paying myself sick. Always wanted to try it. One of these days I'm gonna treat myself to some.
Just here to remind everyone to report that shit as well!
I always feel guilty after reporting, because it's such a different environment, especially over here at beehaw, but I don't think there's been a single time that I wasn't positively surprised that the "housekeeping" agrees there's no place for shitty behaviour here. Always reaffirms that I definitely joined the right place.
I mean I agree, but this is absolutely hilarious. I haven't laughed out loud in months and I just snortled the beer out from my nose. I'm dying. Send help.

In Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Willy Wonka has Oompaloompas working as slaves(?) in his factory. I constantly have the Oompaloompa song playing in my head so it's Oompaloompa with more OOMPH! Nothing more, nothing less. Yes, I am a moron and I know it would've been better as Oomphaloompa, but it's too late now. At least there's twice as much oomph now.
kids told us that it was important for Furby to... ...meditate... Ok I'm aware that traditions are different in different parts of the world and such, but now I'm picturing that times have changed so much kids are meditating and it's an important thing to them. I mean I started kind of out of the blue as a kid without outside influence as a pasty white European dude, but I got made fun of for it when people found out.
~~Kind of~~ really cool if kids are meditating these days.
