@VeganCheesecake @pelletbucket probably the most ethical alternative is http://jmp.chat/. I use it and it works pretty well, though not as user friendly as big tech.

@ExtremeDullard @modcolocko This perhaps was once true, but nowadays I find, when I'm forced to use them, Google products to be terribly designed. Maps is slow and inaccurate, Gmail has horrible navigation, and I'm always amazed when forced to use Google Docs how slow it is, and how often it keeps disconnecting.

Omnivore is an excellent open-source read-it-later alternative to Pocket, that can be self-hosted as well by ncoca in c/foss@beehaw.org

@privacyfalcon9899 I've been using https://meet.coop/ for nearly 2 years, find it better than Zoom. Runs on BigBlueButton.
