He was listed as a mod on /r/jailbait. While the man deserves pretty much all that's coming his way, this part is mostly constantly repeated misinformation.

Back then you could add anyone as a mod to your subreddit without their confirmation or agreement. Every admin was listed as a mod on tons of subreddits.

Still, this is what happens when you rile up an angry mob against yourself.

The lemmy-ansible repository has quite a few commits over the last year other than just bumping the version. Maybe try a git pull first?

Nice! Been thinking of a way it could be built into Lemmy itself, but I haven't come up with anything. Most accessible way I can think of is a browser extension that would do the same thing as your bookmarklet.

This is probably it. I only updated because I have registrations disabled. Upgrading was fast and easy, and I’m happy to see the improvements!

I also think reddit is still the overwhelmingly greatest source of human-written information and discussion on the planet. That will take a while to replace.

I have tried googling for things without adding on "reddit" these past two weeks, and it's... not good.
