All of the LNP minions are saying it now

I’m so screwed. 6 times in the last 5 minutes.

Wow that sign is extra ridiculous. I think most people would struggle to read it standing right in front of it let alone driving past.

s316 does give a lot of leeway e.g.

(b) the sign has additional information on or with it; or

(e) the sign is combined on a single panel with 1 or more other traffic signs; or

The point where it becomes substantially different is pretty subjective, which IMO shouldn't be a thing when you're talking about road rules, but it's sadly not the only example.

He's also blocked on MB's Facebook where he uses his real name. And TBF he is a bit of a troll. Although the bar for being banned by the minister is fairly low. Any kind of negative sentiment on his posts is usually hidden or outright blocked pretty quickly.

Fox got blocked after that :)

I've ridden with Mark Bailey before and he rides FAST. His PR for the Goodwill Bridge is 44km/h with 33 km/h average, and consistently well above 20km/h average for most of his rides. I don't think you can wave all that away as a GPS glitch.

The southside stations were identified as a bottleneck for the increased throughput that CRR adds, so Fairfield to Salisbury are getting extra platforms and raised existing platforms to better support NGR. And I think they rolled in the long overdue accessibility upgrades at the same time. AFAIK that was always the plan from the start, but there was also the late addition of the 3 new stations on the GC that have somehow been tacked on to the CRR project.

That street gets pretty busy during peak with drop-offs and commuters, and there's access to the shopping centre too (which could/should be easily closed). But yeah I wouldn't have thought it would be super high priority.

Cr Johnston and someone else (maybe Cr Massey?) called him out specifically on Twitter.

Plus he has form: 14/06/2023 minutes (.doc file warning)

Councillor JOHNSTON: The LORD MAYOR stood up in this place and he put out a glossy brochure. He said, there’s going to be a second bridge and he and the Councillor for Walter Taylor Ward are on a unity ticket to see thousands more cars come through our area. Well I’m not—I mean the Councillor for Walter Taylor Ward is actually repeatedly blowing raspberries at the moment, which I think is kind of offensive but, you know, as he turns his chair and turns his back, I mean I guess that’s just how he rolls in this place.

Enhance (shame it's not 4K)

Cr Mackay continues to show disrespect to Cr Johnston, this time by blowing raspberries at her. The chair called the behaviour out but not the councillor specifically ("whoever made that noise ...") but it was very obviously him. He's an embarrassment.

I haven't really ventured outside this community yet. Guess I should have a look around.

Just watched this and ... just wow. I'm left equal parts confused and enraged about it all. Cr Johnston's rant was epic and Cr Massey did pretty well considering she was blindsided by it.

I can access it now and just downloaded it.
