right.

and yea, vasoconstriction is vasoconstriction and we know nicotine (among other stimulants) causes it, and therefore, it's going to reduce blood flow to the skin. reduced blood flow = less oxygen/nutrients. over time, this can slow down the healing/regeneration process of the skin, which would lead to a more aged appearance. this also effects hair follicles.

there's not much else to prove here; it's cause and effect.

good article.

sora is impressive at first glance, maybe even second, but it falls apart pretty quickly. nearly every moving subject looks like they're "skating", their movement looks air-y, and relative speed seems wildly off sometimes. not even mentioning the part where every human subject twitches and has some really inhuman micro movements that feel like video being played backwards or like it's millions of worms in a human suit.

anyway, really, really like the conclusion the article comes to. it's fascinating to watch a bunch of executive capitalists treat "content" as a commodity, when in fact it's about social connection. for example, i don't necessarily listen to music because it's something to consume, i do it because i like poetic lyrics, and harsh noise, and connecting with emotional art by a human for other humans. it's just another form of communication and AI generation will be just another tool.
