See, as a terminal foxhole player, this means something very different to me.

Because it’s not based on chromium(blink web engine), there are two other well supported web engines which browsers can be based on, WebKit (Apple), and Gecko (Mozilla).

At the end of the day, if it’s built on Blink, it’s liable to have Google break things they don’t like on the back end. Including ad blockers.

Opera used to be built on it’s own web engine (presto) but since 2013 it’s been built on Blink.

Yah, mushrooms are not that hard to identify if you know what to look for. I worry people who do not know what to look for will be far too confident with such an imperfect tool.

Especially with the growth of demand for foraged mushrooms in restaurants and supermarkets. It’s big money, and I have no doubt some “enterprising” people are going to get people hurt by trusting these tools too much.

The weirdest part to me what how quickly the liberty hub mod just bowed out. Like, they could easily have litigated the situation, but, I suppose it’s easier to just drop it, let the situation play out, and move on.

I didn’t really see that many people going after them for it, there were a few, but it hardly seemed like an overwhelming tide, and most of them seemed like they already had a bone to pick with liberty hub. Maybe there were DMs or messages on platforms I’m not privy too.

The whole things just feels weird. I wouldn’t be surprised if they just abandoned the account the accusation was against and started using a new user name.

It’s not hard, it just takes time and attention to set up properly. And a lot of people are scared of messing it up.

Right now, voting for the current set of candidates will not support the values of the left, it will promote the values of the moderate middle. if the moderate middle wants to prevent another term of trump, they need to give real commitments to policy agendas that will convince disaffected voters to show up. Threatening them with another term of trump clearly is not working, telling them that they should be grateful for what they already got clearly is not working.

If the Democratic Party wants disaffected voters to show up, then the democrat establishment needs to work to earn those votes. If they do not then trump will win, and it will be as much their fault as the people who didn’t vote.

Actions speak louder than words, and the actions of moderates and the democratic establishment don’t seem like those who genuinely want to prevent trump from winning again if it requires them to make concessions or go against lobbyists.

Yah, they seem real eager to scream and bash progressives and leftists for letting trump win, but are shocked and aghast when anyone suggests they didn’t do enough to push a platform and candidates that could beat trump in the election.

bike drives on side walk pedestrians gets bruised, scraped up, maybe concussed

bike drives down road real life frogger

If only there was like… a third options, some sort of third part of the road with like, a second curb. Too bad that’s apparently against the rules of physics in the US.

We should see more of these memes and subvert the notions that underpin the original meme formats.

Why would I watch the Oscars? The movies I watch and like are never even nominated.
