I micro-invest in companies I am familiar in working with at my job. Mostly bio-tech/healtcare/pharm. I have a 403B that is invested in index funds and bonds that is more serious savings. The Robinhood account is more like... a shoe closet. I buy the shoes I like and rarely sell them unless they, well give me a bad experience in real life (looking at your Reddit, Amazon, and Meta). After Trump was elected... I expanded my horizons to European ETFs and Chinese car companies.
I stopped using Paypal a few years ago. But I had to through it to cancel any subs and recurring payments very carefully. I never had them freeze my account/money but I had friends that happened to related to Ebay transactions. Those instances soured me on selling on Ebay as well.
I don't think a $10K secondhand pickup truck exists anymore.-- At least not one with a working engine.
He may try to take over one of the companies developing CRISPR technology to grow himself new organs... or just buy some from a shady body parts dealer in the 3rd world and claim that he had them grown using CRISPR.. So I while I am generally aware of her and admire her commitment to the environment, her ability to get press that annoys the conservative ultra capitalists who hate windmills and solar fields gives me joy. She just triggers them while never thinking about them.
Did you read her book? I have it on my TBR list but it is a long list. I usually like to read fiction but try to do a nonfiction/memoir in about every 3-4 books (I read about 5/wk which varies d/t length).
If only someone with some level of responsibility at Freightwaves bothered to google "tariffs" before donating and voting for the Tupperware face.
I actually went to a gender reveal party for a horse/mare that was pregnant. My friend breeds horses - about one a year. That was a fun party. Although the horse did not appreciate the fireworks (exploding balloon filled with blue glitter).
I think it depends on what services your bank offers. My bank offers Zelle transactions rather than handing out your checking account number.
