Dark jokes aside, it’s common for symptoms to change during the timeline of the pregnancy. Some women say they start to feel more energetic and less nauseous during the second trimester, for example.

I prefer local markets for fresh and domestically grown produce, and because I prefer giving to the community instead of to chains. However, there are things which can only be found in larger markets because they are not grown/availble locally or currently not in season.

Local markets for quality and price, supermarkets for variety.

That’s a nice idea. When cooking for a large group, I like to have a variety of foods on the table to make sure everyone can find something they like. Sometimes I’ll make a large stack of crepes with sweet options (Eurocrem, jam, fresh fruit) and savory ones (cheese, shredded meat, ketchup, hot sauce, ajvar). I’ll also have hummus and crisp vegetables for dipping into it (carrot, celery, cucumber) and salad options. Other times I’ll make French toast and have a platter of assorted meats and cheeses. I also like making something similar to burek or pita with various fillings (spinach, mushrooms, potatoes) and cut them into smaller pieces. Ooh, and of course coffee, water, juice, and spirits to go with it.

Veel plezier! :)

It’s been answered many times already, but the most common reasons are parasocial relationships with specific creators, wanting custom or niche content that is otherwise difficult to find, or to support independent creators who want agency over their content instead of giving studios control of it.

Local museums, galleries, and exhibitions for discovering art in-person.

Lemmy has a community for sharing art, !artshare@lemmy.world , and there might be more niche communities for specific art styles depending on what you’re looking for. Art communities on Reddit have some very talented members (you can use a front end to view them if you don’t have an account).

Artists that document their process and have art in the portfolio in a similar style from before AI took off are more likely to be genuine.

I haven’t seen it, but for some reason I haven’t been able to forget this review:

Miso soup is something I make often and guests have commented that there is a seafood-like taste.

Mushrooms cooked the right way can be used to imitate mussels.

Seaweed/kelp in any form add an oceany flavor.

I haven’t tried these recipes yet, but maybe you’ll find one that you like: vegan seafood recipes.

With the right marketing, it’s a sushi bowl now. Different arrangement, same taste. Besides, it’s all brown in the end :)

Spending time with my favorite people, helping others, finishing goals I set for myself, being outdoors, and listening to music are the big ones.

Then there are smaller everyday things like autumn and winter weather, good food and beverages, good books and films, putting effort into looking nice, and so on.

How about you, OP?
