This was the start
I didn't get what I wanted from the green, yellow, blue, and brown "cords", so I just kept tinkering, trying things. Last step was the Mod Podge over the blue at the top, and lower right. Also sprayed with a matte finish so reduce the shine of the Mod Podge.
this is a variation on the "what I see when I close my eyes" pieces I've made (a few posted about 4 months ago), I altered the actual color to purple
I think the wings are great, very well done.
I wouldn't say you're other wet works aren't good but I'll agree this is better. Thanks for sharing.
How long did this take? I'm new to painting, and the more I go, the longer I'm taking on each painting.
Maybe she's really a little further back where the water is blue and deeper and she'll be fine. I like the way you have the water colors, it works really well.
Maybe the teeth and how the smile is a little more open mouth and oval.
I've seen a lot at local (suburban) art fairs, usually in the summer, spring and fall. Even at some summer festivals they'll have a craft fair area and there is always someone selling their art.
