Hey cool! I'm native and I still don't always know if the way I'm talking is correct, but nobody really cares. If they do and take issue with it, it's not worth worrying about.
Unrelated, but I've never seen someone use the word "assume" that way before. It technically works, I think?
Love Bluey and especially Hilda! I'll check the other's out, thank you. Definitely ideal if I can wean them off of the more annoying kids shows.. The little man is into Spider-Man and Sonic right now, and the littler ma'am LOVES Frozen and Skye from Paw Patrol.
I think I originally checked it out after watching an LTT video on a gaming distro, because i liked computers and I was pretty good at them. Not sure if I was the problem or the distro but it was pretty bad. Still fell in love.
Now I appreciate the open source aspect, but I still like it because I can do more with it and learn in the process.
Oh nooooo!!!! I've definitely had that before.. Always regret it when I delete media files, I just save them all now and if I HAVE to save space I compress them.
The s23 looks appealing due to the integration of a pull tab for the battery as opposed to glue. I will look into this. Thank you.
I almost dismissed it but your enthusiasm is keeping it on my radar. Thanks!
I like the Zenfone specifications, but when I watched a teardown of it it appears to be a pain to repair. It will still be on my list, but I do not think that is what I will go for. Thank you!!
The storage limitation is a shame, but if it fits all my other criteria I could look past it. However, I question the durability and battery life of pixels. I have heard a lot online that pixels have bad battery life. And my pixel 5a had what I thought was adequate protection, but it failed to withstand a short drop. Despite these biases a used Pixel 6 / Pixel 6a is still on my radar.
I appreciate your input.
You grasped what I was trying to convey well and I appreciate that. I will definitely look into the Zenfone as far as repairability goes, since I think that a repairable phone with a few years of android updates might be what I need. Thank you for your input.
I would be okay with a phone that has good custom ROM support or is supported for a long time. Since I would likely flash a new operating system on it after it runs out of android updates. I have been looking at the Pixel 7 / 7a and will take them into consideration. Thank you for your input!
Your criticisms are reasonable ones.
