Honestly, I'm not surprised. Linux on the desktop (or laptop!) has gotten so damn good that going back to windows feels like an absolute chore everytime I need to do so for work.

Difference is probably mostly related to the width of the street. Crossing two lanes is fine, four is uncomfortable and six feels impossible. European strees tend to be much narrower than american ones, so people are more inclined to walk.

Kommt extrem auf die Branche (und den Ausbildungsbetrieb) an. Habe ein IT-Studium während Corona abgebrochen und eine FiSi-Ausbildung angefangen und bereue diese Entscheidung inzwischen zutiefst. Fachlich wurde der IT-relevante Inhalt der ersten beiden Berufsschuljahre im Studium in drei Monaten durchgeballert, 80% der Fächer sind komplette Zeitverschwendung und im Betrieb bring ich mir alles selbst bei, weil die Kollegen halt auch da Ausbildung gemacht haben und entsprechend nur GUIs kennen. Und als Single mit winziger Altbauwohnung ist das Ausbildungsgehalt nicht einmal ansatzweise genug für normales Leben, selbst bei konservativem Ausgabeverhalten. Studium > Ausbildung. In der IT absolut ohne Frage.
