You're moving goalposts, but ok.

Wikipedia already doesn't allow that, so your question is pointless.

It's part of liberals trying to control what other people think by controlling what they say and read.

The reason why news outlets aren't allowed to say "immigrant" anymore is because college-educated liberals don't want people who oppose immigration to have words to support their case.

I say this as someone who loves immigration. The policing of language by the left does more harm than good and only serves to feed the egos of slacktivists, not actually change the world in any meaningful way.

Yeah, no.

It's still censorship even if the person in question wants it to be censored.

People shouldn't get to dictate whether or not wikipedia articles are made of them.

Youtube is actual trash and we have modern designers and businessmen to blame.

The lack of western media reporting on the state of Ukraine leads me to believe they will make concessions to end the war soon.

Part of how propaganda works is not reporting on things that make 'your side' look bad. In other words, "no news is bad news."

I feel bad for the Israelis that have to deal with the backlash 1000 years from now.

Israel should honestly be treated like Antarctica at this point, only with more international security.

Do the engineers get to see a proportional return on this?

I used to have respect for those people, but now I just see them as suckers aiding the enemy.

That's unfortunately a dealbreaker for me. I have a free phone from some company I've never heard of and I don't plan on buying a new one. Hopefully we will see more progress on mobile operating systems in the coming years.

Yep. There's no such thing as competition any more.

Tech companies are just gas stations across the street from each other.

[-] humanoidchaos@lemmy.cif.su 7 points 7 hours ago

I disagree. That would've just been more garbage like with the xbox.

I came here specifically to ask about alternatives to Android now that google is becoming too abusive in the relationship.

I’m trying to add my instance to Fediseer at https://gui.fediseer.com/auth/claim-instance so it can federate.

When I try to send the message, I get an error saying: There was an api error: API Key PM failed

I’m not really sure how to diagnose something like this, but I tried sudo docker logs [ID of nginx container] and one of the entries says "POST /inbox HTTP/1.1" 400 86 "-" "Fediseer/0.25.1" after I try sending the message.

I’m assuming this has something to do with it, but I’m not sure if that’s true or how to fix it even if it is.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
