Work week ended on a slightly depressing note but it's good to see you guys here.

Feeling vulnerable and a mix of boo feelings this morning. A dollop of anxiety, a splash of resentment, a smidge of anger. Why are people so shit???

It's okay guys. The prawns were NOT on the counter. They were defrosting in the fridge. The years are getting to me and I can't remember shit and now I can't find my glasses. God save me.

I'm naive AF and I probably treat people with too much trust but I've recently seen some pretty ugly stuff at work. People who are nice to your face but will throw you under the bus as soon as you turn your back because you mean nothing to them. It's disgusting and I'm losing faith in humanity.

Afternoon peoples and thank you for all the kind words last night again. It's self care day. I haven't even finished lunch but I'm hell bent on fitting a basque cheesecake and a cuppa in. I think that will really fix me up and get me started for a new week.

Anyone find that retailers are not picking up phones anymore (goes straight to voicemail or hangs up)? These are large retailers like kmart too. I feel like this started happening after the pandemic. Or is it just me?

Why do we have such a toxic culture of making work "fun"?? What the hell is wrong with people? Why can't we just do work, go home and have your own kind of fun with other people you enjoy being around???

Dinner has been had. Now to head to the supermarket to pick up a couple of old friends - peanut m&ms and maltesers
