It’s absolutely social media to blame imo. 10 years ago they were only just starting with the aggressive algorithms we know today. This combined with the rise of TikTok and its own algorithm has lead to a resurgence of the right. I believe this was a direct response to how progressive we seemed to be getting in the 2010s. The wealthy right were getting scared. I occasionally accidentally see YouTube “recommendations” and it’s usually unhinged right wing shit with millions of views.
Wait, you mean this guy is real? I genuinely always thought it was a parody account…
I’ve mixed feelings on it. On one hand I feel the game is really overpriced given how old it is and how barebones the port is, and I feel 30 bucks is still a bit much.
On the other hand, if this is your first time playing the game, there IS a lot of content there. It’s a fairly big game to stick your teeth into. Ignoring its age and status as a port, I can see an argument for $30 being valid based on content. But I feel this should be its full price.
If I hadn’t already completed it on PS3, I’d buy it now at this price. I don’t think rockstar is likely to discount it further.
I have never felt so called out by a meme. Especially the bottom line. Well done OP 😂
I enjoy the game but these practices need calling out. I didn’t realise how bad it was when I purchased it. The whole marketing for this game is awful as well, it’s the first game I’ve needed a user made guide to show me which version to purchase.
Honestly in many aspects the old games are far superior anyway. So many awesome levels. Strongly recommended checking out Blood Money Reprisal on iOS and Android as well.
Thanks but sadly not my OC. I agree it’s a fantastic image but don’t want to take credit for what isn’t mine
I absolutely love it! Personally prefer the one with the background gradient.
What a terrible day to have eyes
Horizon Zero Dawn. I played it to completion via proton, ran great.
Yeah I’ve been really annoyed with modern “news reporting” and this article is no different. The store went down for like, a few hours. It was no biggie. It’s frustrating to me how the news exaggerates headlines like “gamers angry as…”, “outrage as”, “fury as” etc. Like they’re telling people to be angry if they aren’t already; telling them they should be.
I’m not angry. It’s a massive achievement on Team Cherry’s part. A team of three launched a game so in demand that it bought a service ran by a major corporation to its knees. I think this happened in huge part thanks to them actually pricing the game reasonably. Massive props to them.
