I guarantee you won’t be interacting with regular “Chinese folk.” There are multiple networks. One for inside the firewall, and one for the people who have been chosen to deliver content to the western market. This is how it has always been.

Well yeah, when you spend a shit ton of money on crap and then never do it, but somehow the money got spent anyway, you tent to come up short. This is why I refuse to live or work in Oregon. That 10% just swims its way into some contractor’s pocket, or is spent on meetings that never end up producing anything.
