This might be controversial but I feel that way about Yellow Submarine. Revolver would be my favorite album if not for that song.

I just ordered my first TV ever, and its a smart TV of course. My first choice would be to not connect it to the internet, but my wife wouldn't like that. So i think ill just put it on its own network and block as many domains that it uses to phone home with as i can, without breaking functionality.

From what I've read PLA is only biodegradable under very specific conditions. I looked into it and you have to send it to a recycling center designed for PLA and its expensive to do so. I would assume microplastics would still be present too. Even though it can be sourced from plant matter its still plastic.

In 2017 I bought a ThinkPad with a hidpi screen, which I knew would give me trouble with Linux. Fortunately the Fedora 26 beta had just been released and was using Wayland by default (I wasn't very Linux savvy to do it myself yet). I've been using Wayland on Fedora ever since without issue.

Naive Super. Not sci-fi, but a quick enjoyable read. I've read it 4 times now. Its just a fantastic simple book to get back into reading fiction.

That whole album is amazing.

I feel this too. I've started and stopped vyvanse quite a few times now, but overall it enhances my mood which in turn makes me actually stay motivated and do things I like doing.

I have an old mini PC that I'm going to use with proxmox to share some of the load from my nas. Today I setup tailscale and for it working with unbound DNS so I can use my domain when connected.

It's endless!

Whaaaat! I had no idea. This is blowing my mind. I've watched this guy's channel for years and didn't know about this.

What're people's opinions of the elected parks board? I genuinely don't know much about this issue.

Ugh same. I decided to upgrade my very uncomfortable sleeping pad recently which led me to the ultralight subreddit. I went from not having a clue how much my bag weighed to a 10lb base weight, tarp camping, a $400 quilt, 27oz backpack, making my own gear. I don't even want to count how much I've spent in the last year.
