I think it's a shame that Aaron is hardly mentioned in the discussions about the current events around Reddit.

I just tried to remind people of him with this documentary on r/videos, but unfortunately I don't have enough karma on Reddit to do that. If someone here feels called to try the same, I would be very happy.

Ich finde es sehr schade dass Aaron kaum erwähnt wird in den Diskussionen über die aktuellen Geschehnisse rund um Reddit.

Ich hätte eben versucht ihn mit dieser Doku auf r/Videos in Erinnerung zu rufen, aber leider habe ich auf Reddit zu wenig Karma um das zu tun. Wenn sich hier jemand berufen fühlt das selbe zu tun würde mich das sehr freuen.

I interpret this blogpost, which is excellent btw, not as 'IPv6 is a badly designed protocol' but rather as 'we haven't done a good job at evolving our network design as a hole'.

The author explains that the only real issue with IPv6 itself, is that roaming between wireless routers wasn't addressed (he calls it 'mobile IP') and that it could be properly fixed by using another identifier for sessions (uuid,port instead of sourceIP,sourcePORT,destIP,destPORT). Which would be doable with QUIC over UDP.
