I use this addon to get "installable" PWAs and it works great for me. I use three installed PWAs regularly and have several more installed.

I use arch on my laptops, debian on my servers, and I recommend fedora to others. I'm also nix/guix curious.

While Firefox doesn't natively have PWA support there is an addon that I use to add PWA support to Firefox. You have to install a helper program on your computer for it to work though so follow the installation instructions.

Dude, it's obvious you don't understand how lemmy or the fediverse works. You need to read more and maybe ask questions to clear up your misunderstanding before you go around making grand pronouncements about how lemmy should be run. A little bit of humility goes a long way.
