As someone who had been in hospital for over a month with a fractured ear that I still can't hear properly out of, a fractured skull, 5 broken ribs, a punctured lung and a problem vertebrae that is causing nerve pain all down my lower back and both legs, these look like how I feel inside (I was attacked).
Also I have chronic fibromyalgia so I'm going out every hour or so to smoke and get out of the bloody ward, even with a formerly punctured lung I'm still smoking like a chimney. It's fucking noisy in here and they wake you up at 6am to do blood pressure checks it's been hell. At least they don't wake you up at 6am in hell. Also I'm on oxycodone so it feels like I'm stoned a lot of the time. I've missed unix_surrealism.
