I'm paraphrasing Zizek, but he said "the left needs a leader that controls executive power" and he's right. There's a difference between a benevolent dictator and a tyrant. Trump is a tyrant, in which he yields his power to prosecute and persecute. A benevolent dictator uses their power as a force for good, think FDR and whatnot.

Remember that student that was like "free Palestine!" And then the reporter was like "we're not here to talk about Palestine."

Seems like neutrality is silence.

Donors go where the public goes, and that's Reform UK from what it looks like. The media is fuelling a fire on immigration right now. Keir Starmer is a grilled crisp at this point — and the boiling cob is going to explode.

Everyone voted on his promises, none of them actually fulfilled. That's it, we're done for.

Both ends need working on. I think creating and supporting new movements require change, it starts with individuals fighting for more rights on a microscopic level. Shifting to GrapheneOS will accelerate Google to make changes for the good of all of us.

Be wise and patient. I think our older politicians don't accept these concepts, but as our young grow into old then we've got a platform to fight for.

My problem with this is when I now don't have freedom from surveillance in my country because I mainly use F-Droid to install my privacy conscious apps.

Big up for the GrapheneOS team for building a very secure operating system despite Google software developers trying their hardest to lock down the system!

"No code" is just another way of saying there is a base of code. Call it base code instead!

Associations are very similar to psychoanalysis concepts. There's a wide range of ways of thinking. I can sometimes think the way you do. Thought and structure is like a routine, carving mental structure. The ways we are taught and lived can really impact the way we think.

When AI isn't factual it's called "hallucination" lmao

I feel for you. When I was using Facebook there was a lot of right wing and left wing conflicts over the British flag. It just seems like everyone likes to fight over things that are so small.

Kudos, everyone deserves dignity and not having to experience constant conflict online.

Liking posts that criticise Western human rights failures have led me towards algorithms of pages that worship dictatorships. Tankie Marxists seem to garner a lot of attention within this "left wing" binary. It seems like there's no such thing as social media politics that are nuanced anymore. I just want to protect myself from data collecting algorithms, stereotypes and assumptions.
