What no... What are you talking about? EU is not even close to the government structure of the US. Starting that each EU country has their own military, and the EU president has absolutely no power on each of the EU members military.
I don't know the first person that thinks banning jets is a silver bullet to solve climate change, or excuse their own behaviour by blaming people flying on jets.
You are getting angry about people that don't exist, or are not even a significant portion.
Don't know... I hope you are right, but too many people were saying the same in 2016
I mean, that's what I do. Will I be able to convince my 60 yo colleague that had been using the same workflow for decades? No, not a chance.
That's still much better though. Lots of people die from lung cancer and other lung related illnesses due to pollution in cities. Also, if emissions are concentrated somewhere else it's more economical to treat them, instead of being spread out in an urban area.
This whole crap that something has to be 100% perfect to be a proper solution has to end. I'm against the use of cars, but let's be seriously, they will never go away.
Whaaaat? You filthy windows lover.
But seriously though, some people talk here like if folks have a choice.
I'm sorry, what? A pregnant woman can't leave the state without husband's permission? Also, what happens if she's a single mum, or she's not married? Or a widow or husband is deployed... I mean... what?
Not OP, I don't have respect for JP, but he still was a professor back then. This is like Degree Tyson starts talking BS on behavioural psychology, that doesn't make him wrong about all his previois statements on astrophysics.
I agree! But it's surprising that even Google doesn't have a native app for Drive. There's one for android, but not for Linux? I'm guessing it all boils down to number of users,, but still...
And believe it or not, part of this is because people don't like to pick up the weird looking tomato, or the banana with a few peckles.
With some cables sometimes quality is higher with price though. I prefer a good 5 USD usb cable than a shitty one that breaks at the joint after a few days of use.
Same with audio cables for guitars, sound is probably not going to suffer (although really long cables can have some issues), but wear damage is definitely noticeable for the very cheap ones.
You basically need professional headphones and speakers to notice any difference, my guess is that 99% of Spotify customers have headphones that didn't cost more than $100, so why would they care? I mean, I have nice headphones and speakers and after some blind tests I couldn't notice any difference.
