I'm currently taking all my old Simpsons DVDs and ahem backing them up to my computer and I'd forgotten how good the early season DVD commentaries were and it really made me think how much we lost when DVDs stopped becoming mainstream.

When you heard "Hi I'm Al Jean.. and I'm Mike Reiss", you knew you were going to get a good commentary.

Also the fact that we'll never get John Swartzwelder on an actual commentary.

hi, all; hope this is appropriate.

i was saddened to find out that yummly was killed off over the weekend even though it was one of my favourite places to find new recipes.

does anyone have any good replacements? especially which make it easy to search by cuisine or dietary type?
