Any position is coherent when you have anonymity and free time. That goes double for moderators.

That's tight, fresh and relevant. And the art is pretty good too.

Do you like Jim Woodring?

That's a very large thing (the art of treating me well) to be conveyed via such a narrow channel (chitchat). Your best gauge of other people is yourself. And that works very well.

After years of thought I have come to the conclusion that the only sane way to store tupperware is with each container attached to its lid, everything stacked. I know you end up having room for like half the tupperware that way but I think it's the only way.

This makes me twitch a little. I have the exact same cabinet in my kitchen. How can it be? It's so randomized that it's antientropic!

Why does anybody use ubuntu etc when they could use debian?

It comes with like 6 desktops right in the installation. And there are another 20 more available too.

And ubuntu etc is just debian with a fancy desktop, right?

And debian is fast, lightweight and stable as heck. Don't they use it on the spaceshuttle?

If you remove my words, that is literally censorship.

Don't get semantic. Please.

I don't think it's a "need for a feeling of superiority" that's keeping it this way.

I think it's because the hunger of the oligarchy is literally bottomless.

Each oligarch is in competition with all the other oligarchs.

Oligarch power is wealth.

So the oligarch feels eternal pressure to get wealthier. To beat the other oligarchs who are also constantly pressured to become wealthier. It's a variety of prisoner's dilemma.

And they get wealth by squeezing resources. Resources like us.

If we convert half of the population to food we could cut that workweek down to 2 days.
