Could you please explain this to me? I have no idea what you're talking about

Fuck reddit man. They're doing all they can to kill it

[-] bahcodad@lemmy.ml 6 points 1 year ago

Or even just u/spez. I'd be happy with that rn

I think if the subs people like move over and and enough user base follows, this will be a more than adequate replacement for deaddit

Personally, after reading about how they've behaved with the apollo dev, I've decided to move away from them anyway. I'll miss the communities but hopefully I can find a home here

What's boosting? I've also come from reddit but I've never heard of this. Is it just upvoting? Lol

I tried mastodon, saw it was like twitter and never used it again lol. I like the deaddit feel much more

Hi!

The subscriptions list only updates when I close and reopen the app. Is there a fix for this?

[-] bahcodad@lemmy.ml 5 points 1 year ago

I'd love a solution to this. All the links I tap open in Firefox and that seems stupid

[-] bahcodad@lemmy.ml 4 points 1 year ago

I like to call Reddit "Deaddit"

I've just moved here from reddit. I've read the documentation introduction but I'm also an idiot.

Could someone please explain how this works in super simple terms? Sort of eli5

I saw it mentioned on r/BoostForReddit in a thread about the api hike
